What do you do best in your profession?
I am good at managing people and with communications. As a Global Influencer Marketing Team Lead in a Korean beauty brand, my passion lies on creating empowered and eye-catching contents with creators.
Can you share a silent win or personal success that often goes or have gone unnoticed?
I am growing my own personal Social Networking Service (SNS) account as a beauty content creator. It's very small, but I feel very successful and satisfied whenever people leave comments saying that my contents are fun, or I have become helpful in choosing the right products.
At work, I always do my best to make my team members feel safe, most especially from unfair situations. As a team lead, I see my role carry a responsibility of protecting my team. I function like a “mom” to my team and I feel a sense of fulfillment everytime they tell me how they value my leadership. This, to me, is already a success that I’m proud of.
Best career advice you’ve received.
Be yourself! I was told this advice by my work best friend when I was going through some challenges in my position. She said that there is a reason why I am in this position, and I don’t need to be someone else. It’s also best to sharpen my skills on my strengths, rather than trying hard to build my expertise around the things I’m not quite good at. This has been the best advice for me so far.
